Welcome our newest arrival–a Story Hour kit for Baby’s Firsts, which School Library Journal dubbed “sure to be a staple in baby storytime.”
Kirsten Cappy of Curious City has put together an adorable collection to help librarians, early childhood educators, and families celebrate babies reaching developmental milestones. For read alouds, children’s librarian Meghan Day provided movements and actions to go along with each spread. Parents can take away tips for raising readers and a “snap and share” log for keeping track of their baby’s achievements. Anyone planning a story time event or first birthday party will appreciate the choice of templates for adorable birthday hats.
You can download the free event kit here.
Also, librarians, educators, and literacy leaders can enter to win one of 22 copies of Baby’s Firsts for your institution.
